My friend Corey is a cocktail connoisseur and he shared items that are bar essentials. I’ve shared some styling tips and inspiration. Now all you have to do is throw a party!

What you need:

1. Whiskey
2. White Rum
3. Gin
4. Tequila
5. Vodka

Vermouth: Craving the perfect Martini? How about a delicious Manhattan? Make sure to have a couple varieties of Vermouth on hand.

What you need:

1. Sweet Vermouth
2. Dry Vermouth

Pro Tip: Vermouth only lasts for two weeks. Keep it in fridge for best results.

Sweet: If you plan on shaking up a Whiskey Sour or a Bee’s Knees anytime soon, make sure to have the sweet stuff on hand.

What you need:

1. Simple Syrup
2. Honey
3. Agave

Pro Tip: Like Vermouth, simple syrup will only last a few weeks. Keep it in the fridge to increase longevity.

Bitter: Bitters keep the balance in most cocktails. There are hundreds of flavors when it comes to bitters, but start with these.

What you need:

1. Angostura Bitters
2. Orange Biiters

Citrus: No Daiquiri or Tom Collins is complete without citrus! Keep a few lemons and limes on hand and squeeze them when you’re in the mood for a cocktail.

1. Limes
2. Lemons

Pro Tip: You can keep fresh juice stored for awhile, but use it within 24 hours of squeezing for the best taste.

3. Hawthorn Strainer
